Walton Charity’s 'Space to Grow' project is a new social horticultural initiative in Walton on Thames, Surrey. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for vulnerable individuals, including adults, young people, and children facing challenges such as mental health conditions, depression, anxiety, or significant life changes.

This garden will provide participants with the opportunity to engage in regular sessions, helping them build confidence and form meaningful friendships. By adopting a permaculture approach to land management, we aim to create a sustainable and efficient ecosystem. The project seeks to enhance resilience through social interaction, environmental stewardship, and the production of food and flowers, ultimately supporting both mental and physical health by fostering a sense of purpose.
